What we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, company name, and billing details when you create an account.
  • Interview data: recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries from interviews you create and conduct.
  • Participant data: voice recordings, responses, and consent timestamps from interview participants (see "Interview participant data" below).
  • Usage data: how you interact with the product — pages visited, features used, session duration — collected via PostHog analytics.
  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, and operating system, collected automatically when you use the service.

How we use it

  • To operate and deliver the service — your interviews, transcripts, and dashboard.
  • To improve the product — we analyze aggregate usage patterns to understand what's working and what isn't.
  • To communicate with you — product updates, billing notices, support replies.
  • We never use your interview data to train third-party AI models. See our subprocessors list at /subprocessors for the AI providers we use.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the sub-processors needed to deliver the service — infrastructure, transcription, payments, and analytics. The full list is at /subprocessors.

We may disclose data if required by law or to respond to a valid legal process. We will notify you when legally permitted to do so.

Interview participant data

When you send an interview link to a participant, they are the data subject — you are the data controller, and we are the data processor for that data.

  • Participants receive an AI-interview disclosure before the session begins. Their consent is required to proceed.
  • Consent timestamps are stored immutably alongside the transcript.
  • Participants may request access to or deletion of their data by contacting you (the customer) or us at privacy@anyinterview.to.
  • Recordings are stored per your account's retention settings (default: 7 years for compliance customers, 2 years for standard).

Your rights

Depending on where you are:

  • GDPR (EEA/UK): Right to access, rectification, erasure, portability, and to object to processing. Email privacy@anyinterview.to.
  • CCPA (California): Right to know what data we've collected, right to deletion, and right to opt out of sale (we don't sell your data).
  • COPPA: This service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

  • Account data: retained for the life of your account plus 30 days after termination.
  • Interview data: configurable per account. Default retention is 2 years for Pro, 7 years for compliance-tier customers.
  • Usage analytics: retained for 12 months in aggregate form.

Security

Interview data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. For a full overview of our security posture, see /security.
